Acanthemblemaria exilispinus, known commonly as the Bluntspine blenny in the United Kingdom,[1] is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Acanthemblemaria.[2] It is found in coral reefs from Costa Rica to Ecuador, in the eastern central Pacific ocean.[2] It was named by John S. Stevens, Jr., in 1963,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 5.5 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of zooplankton.[4]
